A non-for profit community based outreach program that provides youth actives
for inner-city youth from low-income families. This program is designed to identify
inner-city youth who are in a non-positive environment and offer them the opportunity
to be part of a positive, learning atmosphere to create and provide the use of sports
as a tool to enable under-privileged inner city youth to experience teamwork,
leadership and self-esteem.
Our scope is to involve and to develop a continues working relationship with the Local
Police Department, Department of Human Services, Chicago Park District, Churches,
Local Community Leaders, Schools, Businesses, and Elected Officials. Will allow us to bus
in boys and girls from communities throughout the Chicago-land area and offer them the
opportunity to be a part of our program. This program allows us to reach out to low income
families and those living in public housing to establish additional in-house youth programs
for boys and girls ages 14-18. We offer a ten (10) week summer program starting in June
and ending in August.
For disadvantaged Chicago youths between the ages of 14-18, the purpose of the camp will
be to take inner-city youth from the City environment and expose them to programs that
would consist of instructional training in the fundamental of playing baseball, softball,
horse back riding and swimming etc. Form a working relationship with the area elementary,
high schools and summer youth leagues. This will aid us in our effort to better
promote positive youth programs.
Your financial support and/or in-kind donation of this program would go a long way
in assisting us in the carrying out of the above programs purchasing of uniforms,
equipment and training, material and at no cost to the participants. This program
will impact over two hundred fifty 250 youth annually.
FEOA is run entirely by volunteers
